The Arboretum
After a long period of alienation, the Arboretum is again open to the Public. The Arboretum redevelopment is being undertaken by the Trust in collaboration with the Council’s staff, as part of the Camperdown Botanic Gardens and Arboretum plan. Cattle were removed, obstacles cleared, and old tree guards and fencing taken out in 2022. The work of reclaiming and enhancing the Arboretum continues.
How to get to the Gardens
The Gardens are 3km west of Camperdown and easily accessible by car. There is parking and facilities on-site.
